I love interior design and decorating. I often contemplate moving to a bigger city where there is a real market for Interior Designers/Decorators. I would love the opportunity to turn my passion into a full time career. I also love music, and played with several bands/orchestras over the years. I can't believe I passed up a seat in a professional Military band just because I didn't want to go to boot camp, but I did. I love animals, especially cats. I think anyone who abuses an animal should get the same punishment as they would if they abused a fellow human. I love writing poetry, and can write a poem about any topic as long as it is something I have personal experience with...or I can write a humorous poem about something I know nothing about just for the fun of it. I have two children in their early twenties, both out on their own and working. I don't live within driving distance to my daughter and I miss her terribly sometimes, but I guess the fact that she left home and is self sufficient means I did my job. I live within an hour of my son, so I get to see him fairly often. My interests also include camping, boating, swimming, walking, aquarium fish keeping, travel, tasting different cuisine from different cultures, surfing the internet, and many more.
